Hi we are a small tobacconist based in Yorkshire (UK) and have just released our own christmas tobacco blend. We've had some cracking reviews so far and hopefully you'll all agree.

I have a collection of Peterson pipes and I smoke Petersons Connoisseur's Choice Tobacco. I urge you to try them both. I csan't imagine a more satifying, enjoyable, peaceful experience, and to anyone trying a pipe for the first time, these are the idea choice for the beginer and for the seasoned smoker. Enjoy.

Easily as good as the Corona Old Boy without the price tag!!
I noticed them on the Black Swan's website last week and after a lot of deliberating I settled on the Chrome one. I used to have an Old Boy (until customs got their way last month that is) and I am in no way dissapointed with the Peterson. I would almost guess they were made by Corona!! Now there's a rumour!!

As i read this, I am holding an empty tin of Early Morning Pipe that I bought some 10 or 15 years ago at a local pipe shop. I think that there are 3 tobacco shops left in the area. I guess that I would have to order this on line...I also miss Mac Baren Roll & Plum Cake and Edgeworth.

Sean,

I agree that there is a pipe-smoking resurgence, especially among younger men. It's a great thing to see so many younger pipe smokers picking up the hobby.

Thank you for your link to A Passion for Pipes. I appreciate your kind words and your support.

Hi Sean. I agree with your post and just thought I'd contribute here as we are a family run, mail order pipe tobacconist based in the UK. Over the 30+ yrs we have been operating we have seen many ups and downs, but now into our 2nd generation we are trying to freshen up what we are doing and provide not just an online shop but much more of a community for pipe smokers. Take a look and by all means let me know what you think.
Cheers, m.
